Production editing from home
The Coronavirus lockdown has led to the offices of Dennis Publishing, like many others, being closed. In May 2020 I was booked to cover the Production Editor on Computeractive. Using Slack to liaise with the designers, writers, freelances and editor, and working via a VPN, I helped to sub and bring in all the pages on deadline. I then got the whole publication uploaded to the printers and approved remotely.
